It really was though. I dont remember the last movie I laughed at so much. Its was just 2 hours of me smiling at the screen.

Totally agree. The best movie I have seen in years.

Agreed.

I saw it Friday night and I couldn't be happier.

One of my favorite movies ever. Extremely well done and so enjoyable. The end really shocked me too which I didn't expect at all even though it built up to it really nicely.

Any decently interested LEGO fan would love the movie just because of everything and everyone it has in it.
Any kid can love the movie because it's amusing and action-y and colorful.
Any other adult -LEGO fan or not - should love the movie because it's really well created and has a ton of subtle humor.

10/10 imo

Being an adult Lego fan just makes it even better. There are jokes in there that someone who doesn't know Lego won't get.

So true.

Small details like the appearance of Shaq and the 2002 NBA All-Stars were what really sent the movie off the charts for me. That made my day. My 11-year old brother didn't really get why I liked that appearance so much but 20-year old me saw so much nostalgia in it.

The movie was perfect for a Lego fan of my age but I know they went way farther back too with some things like the 80s-something spaceman with the broken helmet. They had so many characters and themes to choose from and I think they hit it out of the ballpark with their selections, from old to super new.
